A two-day event dedicated to the gastronomic delights of Italy was organized by ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets, the Embassy of Italy in Nicosia, and the Italian Trade Agency on Wednesday, May 22, and Thursday, May 23, 2024.  

The two-day event began on Wednesday, May 22, with a master class by Italian chef Giorgio Trovato, who presented Italian recipes in their healthiest version. Chefs had the opportunity to attend a master class full of deliciousness that tantalizes the palate. The master class was held in collaboration with the Culinary Arts program of Intercollege and the Training and Development Unit of the University of Nicosia, at the University of Nicosia facilities. On the afternoon of the next day, Thursday, May 23, customers of ALPHAMEGA Hypermarket in Engomi had the chance to see chef Giorgio Trovato up close and be initiated into his cuisine through a live cooking show.  

Finally, on the evening of the same day, distinguished guests and members of the press attended a wine tasting at Bean Bar 360 on Makarios Avenue, where they sampled Italian wines.
